Minimerc is delighted to announce we have recently teamed up with Sheffield based artist Danny Hughes to produce limited edition fine art drawings of Mercedes vehicles. These high quality prints are available from the Minimerc website.

Every Month from the beginning of June 2008 Minimerc and Danny will be offering a new addition to the Mercedes Collection, each edition will be strictly limited to only 495. Each print will be produced, numbered, signed and dispatched by Danny himself, so he can ensure quality control for all his artworks.

Currently the prints are available in one size - 297mm x 210mm. Once the edition is sold, there will be no repeat editions in this size. The cost of each print for any vehicle is £7.49 plus £1.50 p&p (additional charges will apply for postage outside the UK).

To emphasise all the detail of the original artwork and give the prints a quality textured feel, Danny uses Somerset enhanced Digital Fine Art Paper. This paper is 100% rag (cotton), acid free and is 225gsm in weight. Prints will be sent within a clear poly self-sealed bag in a card backed envelope for extra protection.

Danny completed his Masters Fine Art studies last year and since then has focused his attention on creating high quality pencil drawings. On a recent visit to Danny’s studio I was impressed not only with the obvious quality of Danny’s drawings, but also his commitment to retaining a consistent standard of work, with the ambition of building a drawing portfolio that covers all models of Mercedes vehicles.

The collection will begin with a 1980 SLC and coming up will be a Vision SLR. Minimerc would also welcome suggestions for Danny, so he can adapt his portfolio of drawings to match customer requirements. If you are happy to include your Mercedes please let us know via the contact page.
